Beauty Extreme Couponing?

I recently found a page FULL of drugstore beauty coupons! I'll have the link to the coupons listed below.  The coupons are only good at Rite Aid stores.  At the moment, Rite Aid has major drugstore brand cosmetics Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off.  So of course I had to pick up a few things!

The first things I picked up were the new Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots.  Covergirl is currently Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off.  The retail price of each shadow pot is $4.99 equaling a total of around $10.  However, with the Buy 1 Get 1 50% deal, you get one for $4.99 and one for $2.49.  I then used a coupon found in my sunday paper for $3.00 off two Covergirl eye products.  My total then became $4.48 which is cheaper than just one eyeshadow.  Making one of them free!

The colors I picked were Blazing Purple and Blazing White.

The next makeup brand I went to was WetnWild.  I found two $1 off coupons for eyeshadow and mascara (linked below).  The first thing I picked was the Megalength mascara.

It retails for $2.99 which is inexpensive to begin with....However, with my wellness+card I got $.60 off equaling $2.39.  I then used the coupon for a dollar off.  I paid $1.39 for this mascara!

The last thing I picked up is Nude Awakening WetnWild Eyeshadow Palette! These palettes retail for $4.99.  I then used my $1.00 off coupon.  I paid $3.99 for this eyeshadow palette, which is $.50/Eyeshadow!

In total I paid $10.41 (tax included). Without coupons and discounts, the total would have been $17.96 + tax.  I saved $4.00 in coupons and $7.55 total, which is more than half!

Hair Chalking?

Hey Guys!  Today I wanted to share one of my new obsessions- Hair Chalking! It's easy to do and it changes up your look!  My friend and I did this the other day and we decided it would make a great post!

Supplies:
Art  Chalk
Hair Spray
Your Preference of Heat
Water

I started off with my natural hair texture and brushed it out.

Then, I decided which parts of my hair I wanted to color.  I chose to do two on each side of my part.

Next, I took a spray bottle with water in it and sprayed the end of the first piece of hair.

Now comes the fun part!  I picked what color I wanted to do- lavender/pink!  Take the piece of chalk and run it down the front and back of the hair.  After that take a hair dryer and blow dry that section of hair.  Then, pick any type of heat tool- I chose a curling wand and curled my hair.

To make sure the color doesn't transfer onto your shirt or pillow, spray it with hair spray.  I used the Aussie Awesome Volume Hair Spray.
And Ta-Da! Your Done!

My friend chalked her hair and we decided it looks good in a pony tail too!

Hey guys! So I thought that today I would share my monthly beauty favorites! I haven't been into very many makeup items this month, but the ones I do have I recommend!

My first favorite is the Rimmel London BB Cream.  This BB Covers surprisingly well!
Along with the BB Cream, I use my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer.  This concealer has been a favorite for almost a year now! Its so light weight and has good coverage!
Another face favorite is my Essence Silk Touch Blush in Babydoll.  Its a bright mauve that looks natural on the skin.  My favorite part is that its a matte or mostly matte blush!

Lately, I have been skipping eye makeup and wearing bright pink lips instead.  My current favorites have been either long wearing or light and mousturizing.  I really like the Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch.  I also like the Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart and the Nyx Lip Gloss in La La Land.

What are your monthly must haves?
